   The dissertation is focused on architectural language. The issue will be discussed from the artistic, technological, historiographical, sociological and psychological point of view, with the basis in contemporary theory of architecture.

3. New function in historical object - potential and usage limits sacral buildings

   Systematic study specifies the use of historical objects and their files in connection with the principles of historical restoration. Potential and limits of the monitored objects in the search phase for the appropriate function and the optimum level of operational load. Focused on sacral buildings

4. Preconditions and consequences of humanitarian architecture

   Architects work without borders. Many of them extend their knowledge and gain creative experience in Third World countries. They are exposed to conditions that are not compatible with the conditions in their home country. What is the role of these specialists in development projects in third world countries? Are they beneficial or unnecessary additional costs?

5. Reshaping by bending as a principle of creating an architectural composition

   Study of spatial and geometric principles of the creation of architectural composition by means of paperfolding – as a change of shape by bending of planar materials.

6. Theoretical background in Czech and Slovak architecture and urbanism after 1989

   The identification of thought streams in architecture and urbanism in the context of the Czech and Slovak Republics after 1989 and the subsequent examination of genealogy, historical roots, links and generational-ideological differences in generations of architects in this period. The topic is focused on the systematization of the theoretical framework of the generation of architects, who are in their post-1989 practice.

7. Traditionalism in architecture of the 19th, 20th and 21st century

   The dissertation is focused on traditional form languages and typologies in architecture from the 19th through the 21st century. The subject might be the analysis of the work of particular architect/s, architecture in specific region, particular typology, or application of traditional design in the contemporary architecture.
