Abstract:

This thesis is focused on differences between compaction of fine-grained and
coarse-grained soils. It presents selected compaction methods and it describes their principles and implementation procedures. In the practical part is performed classification of both types of soils and then samples are compacted by three methods. The result of this work is to compare the effects of compaction on fine-grained and coarse-grained soil.
