Abstract:

The bachelor thesis addresses an issue of an influence of crude oil materials on pavement surface. An analysis of valid legislation for transportation of dangerous goods in the European Union and in the Czech Republic is provided. The thesis is also concerned with transportation of dangerous goods, especially class 3: Flammable liquids in tanks, specifics of the tanks, requirements for their use, accidents and problem solving connected to their disposal with respect to the environment. The practical part deals with a test of resistance of Bituminous Mixtures to fuel , which is more specified in norm ČSN EN 12697-43 "Bituminous mixtures - Test methods for hot mix asphalt - Part 43: Resistance to fuel. The thesis is concluded with the description of results of the influence of fuel effect on specimens made of specific Bituminous Mixtures.
