The Bachelor thesis focuses on the area of Pisárky – Žabovřesky that is part of the transport communication I/42 Žabovřeská I and a component of Large City Circle Road Brno (VMO) that will soon undergo reconstruction. The reason is the reduced number of traffic lanes that causes considerable transport restrictions. The aim of the Bachelor thesis is the monitoring of current traffic situation and intensity of transport in selected locations. This data is thereafter used while modelling situations in simulation program Aimsun. Proposed is detour variant of this section during the reconstruction phase which is compared with the current situation.
