The goal of this thesis is to increase the fluency of expressway traffic during temporary restrictions. Traffic data obtained from radars were analyzed using a microsimulation model in the software S-Paramics. The result is a process, calibrate and validate the model of the current situation, the design and evaluation of models of mobile dynamic traffic control (in terms of average speeds and travel times) and the experiences with the use of software S-Paramics. The work also includes the study of usability mobile dynamic traffic control on Czech expressways.
