This thesis presents a summary and practical part. The summary section provides basic information about membranes and membrane processes. Membrane processes are increasingly being used as a very effective substitute for traditional technological processes in the world. The practical part presents the design and comparison of variants of wastewater treatment plants. There are proposed two solutions for sewage treatment plants. The first option is solved in the conventional way, the second option is used the membrane separation of activated sludge.
