This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a backup solution for a private cloud using modern open-source technologies. The aim is to maximize data integrity and resilience against ransomware. Based on requirements analysis and data classification by criticality, a solution based on the 3-2-1-1-0 rule was proposed with architecture from client data and services through NAS to off-site and offline storage. Data snapshotting was implemented using ZFS, deduplication and incremental transfer were implemented via Restic. Encryption was implemented in three layers: end-to-end encryption of off-site backups, native ZFS disk encryption in NAS, and encryption of external disk for offline backups. Ransomware resilience is ensured by temporarily immutable S3 backups with automatic retention extension and offline backups on a disconnected external disk. The architecture minimizes vendor lock-in through the use of standardized S3 protocols and the universal Rclone connector. The solution was successfully implemented and verified in a real production environment. It demonstrated that open-source tools are a full or partial alternative to commercial software, provided that data sovereignty and acquisition cost are prioritized over user comfort.

Student ve své prezentaci seznámil komisi s cíli, řešením a výsledky, ke kterým v závěrečné práci dospěl. Komise se poté seznámila s posudky a hodnocením vedoucího práce a oponenta.
