This bachelor's thesis addresses the issue of recycling electrode materials from lithium-ion batteries, focusing on the direct recycling process and the reuse of negative electrodes. The theoretical part summarizes the historical development of lithium-ion cells, their structural designs, operating principles, and provides an overview of active materials, detailing pyrometallurgical, hydrometallurgical, and direct recycling methods. The practical section focuses on the experimental validation of the direct recycling efficiency of anode graphite reclaimed from spent cells. The primary objective of the thesis was to verify the electrochemical functionality and structural recovery success of the recycled graphite itself. As a secondary step, the possibility of material modification of this regenerated carbon matrix using micrometric 1µm and nanometric 20nm silicon additives was investigated. Using cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic cycling, all samples were analyzed for their specific capacity, Coulombic efficiency, rate capability, and long-term stability in a half-cell configuration against metallic lithium. The results confirmed that the recycled graphite alone exhibits parameters fully comparable to pristine commercial materials, while the subsequent integration of nanoparticle silicon represents a promising way to further increase its capacity.

Student seznámil státní zkušební komisi s cíli a řešením závěrečné vysokoškolské práce a zodpověděl otázky a připomínky oponenta. Otázky komise: Jak jste míchal jednotlivé složky? Degraduje mikrometrický křemík nebo jak to je? Upozornění na hrubky v prezentaci. Student postupně zodpověděl položené otázky.
