In this bachelor’s thesis, an analysis of the operating principle of an electrostatic precipitator at elevated temperatures was carried out. During the design process, it was necessary to consider a number of factors. The aim of this thesis was to design, construct, and experimentally verify an electrostatic precipitator intended for use in the spray-dry synthesis process with the capability of capturing nanoparticles. Experiments were conducted on the constructed device to evaluate particle capture efficiency; However, undesirable particle agglomeration occurs during operation, indicating the presence of moisture and that is negatively affecting the efficiency of particle collection.
