This master’s thesis deals with the design, physical implementation, and commissioning of a robotic cell intended for the automated application of primer to glass components in the automotive industry. The aim of the project was to replace the original manual workplace, thereby increasing production capacity, ensuring stable process repeatability, and eliminating defect rates. The thesis describes the actual process of system integration from the implementer’s perspective. It includes the hardware solution, the physical assembly of electrical cabinets, the design and calculation of safety zones for the laser scanner, and the wiring of peripherals. The core part is the software integration, which involves programming the motion trajectories of both industrial robots, configuring the servo drives of the two-axis manipulator, and setting up communication with the master PLC control system. The result of the thesis is a fully functional automated workplace that was successfully deployed and fine-tuned directly in the production line at the customer’s site, including a technical and economic evaluation of the real benefits of this solution in industrial practice.

Student seznámil státní zkušební komisi s cíli a řešením závěrečné vysokoškolské práce a zodpověděl otázky a připomínky oponenta a komise. Otázky komise k obhajobě: 1. Už se stalo, že došlo k výpadku navržené robotické buňky a bylo potřeba přejít zpět na manuální proces? 2. Jak dlouho trvala oprava poškozeného robota, která způsobila zmíněný výpadek? 3. V jaké automobilce se robotická buňka nachází?
