This thesis deals with the design, implementation, and experimental verification of a~three-phase Vienna-type active PFC rectifier with a power rating of 15 kW. The rectifier is intended to provide controlled current consumption from the grid with a high~power factor and to generate a regulated DC-link voltage for a subsequent converter. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the properties of the Vienna PFC topology, derive the calculation relationships required for the design of the power stage, and design the main power components of the rectifier, including the cooling system. This design is followed by the development of the complete schematic, the design of the printed circuit board, the implementation of the prototype, and the gradual verification of its individual functional blocks. The thesis also includes the derivation and implementation of the control algorithm in the synchronized dq reference frame, the configuration of protection functions, and the experimental evaluation of the prototype operating characteristics. During the tests, the main evaluated quantities were the power factor, efficiency, DC-link voltage stability, power losses, thermal loading of the power stage, and the behaviour of the input inductor.

Student seznámil s komisi s cíli práce. Na úvod představil topologii měniče a požadované parametry, blokové schéma a 3D model DPS. Ukázal tak fotku výsledného prototypu včetně záběrů z termokamery. Vysvětlil princip funkce měniče na blokovém regulačním schématu. Na výsledných oscilogramech také spočítal celkový účiník lambda. Na otázky oponenta odpověděl.
