This bachelor's thesis focuses on the thermal analysis of brushless direct current motors using the equivalent thermal network method. The first part provides a detailed description of the brushless direct current motor construction. The second part comprises a research of loss mechanisms in synchronous machines, while the third part describes the fundamental heat transfer mechanisms. Subsequently, the thermal network method is described, including the derivation of thermal resistance calculations and the preparation of geometric models necessary for designing the thermal network of a synchronous machine. The next part describes the assembly of the brushless direct current motor thermal network, including a description of the machine's geometric dimensions utilized in the network. The fifth part provides a verification of the thermal network accuracy using the finite element method. The sixth part outlines the measurement of the machine's thermal characteristics and the characteristics necessary to determine motor losses. The penultimate part establishes the losses for the thermal network model, and the final part compares the resulting temperatures from the thermal network with experimental measurements.

Student prezentoval bakalářskou práci na téma Analýza oteplení BLDC motoru malého RC modelu auta. Student shrnul cíle práce. Popsal ověření správnosti dílčích modelů. Prezentoval výsledky simulací. Dále popsal sestavení tepelné sítě. Popsal provedená měření. Shrnul postup identifikace ztrát pomocí měření a popsal postup ověření správnosti výpočtu ztrát. Prezentoval vypočítané teploty uvnitř modelovaného stroje. Student odpověděl na otázky oponenta a komise.
