This bachelor thesis deals with the preparation of electrode materials for sustainable sodium-ion batteries, with an emphasis on anode materials. It includes an introduction to the history, principles, and materials used in the modern, dominant lithium-ion battery technology. The following section on sodium-ion battery technology discusses its development to date, compares it with lithium-ion batteries, and focuses on carbon – and tin-based materials as promising groups of anode materials. Experimental outcome of the thesis is the proccesing of waste biomass and the subsequent synthesis of hard carbon, which serves as an active material in the negative electrode, along with its electrochemical and physical characterization.
Accumulator, sodium, lithium, anode, renewable resources, hard carbon, biomass, tin

Student seznámil státní zkušební komisi s cíli a řešením závěrečné vysokoškolské práce a zodpověděl otázky a připomínky oponenta. Otázky komise: Proč jste použil oxalát a ne například oxid? Vysvětlete v čem je ta ekologičnost, když tu zmiňujete mnoho různých chemikálii a energie spotřebované na získání požadované látky?
