Electronic devices use power supplies with various DC voltagets. In addition to various DC voltages, electronic devices differ in power consumption. To test, build and repair these devices an universal DC power supply with variable voltage and current output is essential. The main goal of this master´s thesis is to build a DC power supply with variable voltage output 0 - 60 V and current output 0 - 20 A. To create this power supply the topology using two forward convertors was chosen. With two forward convertors, it is posibble to double the amount of pulses on the output filter. The master´s thesis includes desing phase and testing phase of the created power supply. The result of the master´s thesis is completed DC power supply with output voltage 0 - 60 V and current 0 - 20 A. The power supply is able to supply and regulate the output DC voltage in the range 0 to 60 V. The output current limit can be set in the range 0 to 20 A. The power supply is able to deliver a continues output power of 1200 W without a time limitation. The power supply was put in a case, which fully completed the building of the power supply. The case includes control and indication components. The power supply input uses a grid voltage of 230 V AC.
