This thesis deals with the electromagnetic and thermal analysis of an asynchronous motor. In the first part, the principle of AC electrical machines is discussed; the work focuses on different types and design arrangements of asynchronous and synchronous machines. The second part deals with the finite element method of computation. It explains the calculation procedure and presents a description of the basic mathematical solution, along with an introduction to programs utilizing FEM. The next chapter is devoted to the description of the creation of the asynchronous motor model in the Ansys Maxwell software. The fourth chapter focuses on the implementation of a thermal model created using the thermal network method and describes its configuration. The thesis documents the procedure of model creation and subsequent setup. Within the penultimate chapter, a computational algorithm in Python is presented, which includes the implementation of a thermal network that refines the calculation. The final chapter is devoted to the analysis and discussion of the obtained results.

Student prezentoval diplomovou práci na téma Analýza asynchronního stroje metodou konečných prvků. Student popsal nastavení simulace. Následně se student věnoval interpretaci výsledků simulace v jmenovitém bodě. Student taktéž prezentoval vypočítané teploty ve stroji a skript pro ovládání výpočtu. Student odpověděl na otázky oponenta. Student taktéž dokázal odpovědět na otázky komise.
