This master’s thesis deals with the modeling of Li-Ion cell aging and the prediction of their State of Health (SoH). The theoretical part summarizes the main degradation mechanisms, factors affecting aging, selected diagnostic methods, and approaches to degradation modeling. The practical part uses the NASA Battery Aging Dataset, which contains charge, discharge, and impedance measurements of Li-Ion cells. Input features for SoH prediction are extracted from the obtained data. A predictive model based on Gaussian Process Regression combined with a Kalman filter is developed in MATLAB. The accuracy of the model is verified using the Leave-One-Battery-Out validation strategy and evaluated using RMSE, MAE, MAPE, and R² metrics. In addition to the quantitative evaluation, the prediction performance is also assessed through a graphical comparison of actual and estimated SoH values and residual analysis. The results are compared with a reference linear regression model.

Student seznámil státní zkušební komisi s cíli a řešením závěrečné vysokoškolské práce a zodpověděl otázky a připomínky oponenta a komise. Otázky komise k obhajobě: 1. Jakým způsobe, resp. na základě čeho jste vybíral vstupní parametry pro trénování modelu? 2. Jakým způsobem jste vyhodnocoval vybíjecí křivky akumulátorů? 3. Využil jste i simulací? 4. Zkoumal jste i nabíjecí křivky akumulátorů?
