The goal of this thesis is to design a working light meter for analogue photography. Functionally it will be a lux meter with conversion of photometric values to photographic ones. The theoretical part of the work discusses the concept of light measurement and the units by which the light can be described. It then goes on by describing photographic units and their conversion from the measured illuminance. Then it continues with descriptions of various types of photodetectors and their comparisons to each other. The practical of the work focuses on the actual design of the light meter. It goes on describing the choices behind each component and function. Including the explanation of electronic schematics, PCB layout and firmware. The last chapter focuses on the actual measurements and compares them to the lab grade spectroradiometer ILT950. Based on the measurements, it was confirmed that the light meter needs to be calibrated to function. After the internal calibration the measurements were found to be adequate and ready to use in photography. The last measurement used the bracketing photographic method. The pictures taken were judged based on loss of details.

Student seznámil státní zkušební komisi s řešením své závěrečné práce a zodpověděl otázky a připomínky oponenta. Dále odpověděl na otázky komise: K: Jak dlouho trvá, než máte data k dispozici? S: Není to jedna konkrétní doba, u senzoru můžeme nastavovat integrační dobu. K: V čem byl programován mikrokontroler PIC. S: V C, MPLAB. K: Jak si představit 1 klx? S: Není to příliš mnoho, díky korekci u senzoru je senzor použitelný. K: Otázka na nastavení clony? S: Komise je s odpovědí spokojena.
