This master’s thesis deals with the issue of moisture in printed circuit boards (PCBs), its influence on material properties, and the effectiveness of drying methods used in the manufacturing of electronic assemblies. The thesis reviews available PCB drying methods, identifies risks associated with elevated moisture content, and analyses the recommendations of the IPC-1602 standard for PCB storage, handling, and drying. In the experimental part, test PCBs with integrated capacitive sensing structures were designed and fabricated to evaluate changes in the dielectric properties of the material depending on moisture content. A methodology for climatic exposure, drying, and subsequent evaluation using electrical measurements and a reference gravimetric method was developed. The results demonstrate both the possibilities and limitations of the capacitive approach for determining the drying level of PCBs and discuss its potential application in electronic assembly manufacturing

Student seznámil státní zkušební komisi s řešením své diplomové práce a zodpověděl otázky a připomínky oponenta. Student tuto problematiku komunikoval.
