This thesis focuses on the development of a software preprocessor for the automated preparation and reduction of large datasets. The processed data serves as input for the FEMAXI-6 computational program, which simulates the thermomechanical behavior of nuclear fuel during irradiation. The developed tool, implemented in Python, uses six reduction algorithms based on the analysis of the measured signal's behavior to reduce the volume of input data. The proposed algorithms were tested on real data from the IFA-677 benchmark. The evaluation presented in the conclusion of the thesis shows that, within the tested range, the method based on the analysis of the derivatives of the measured signal most closely matches the original shape of the data. The thesis also includes an analysis of the behavior of the individual reduction methods depending on the degree of reduction, as well as the formulation of specific recommendations for their further optimization.

Student prezentoval výsledky své diplomové práce. Vedoucí práce doktor Foral přečetl posudky vedoucího i oponenta. Následnou rozpravu zahájil prof. Katovský požádáním studenta o vysvětlení otázky oponenta. Doplňující otázku položil doktor Foral. V další diskuzi položily dotazy doc. Baláš, doktor Radil a prof. Katovský. Student na položené dotazy pohotově odpovídal.
