This thesis deals with the comprehensive innovation of an existing 3-axis Cartesian manipulator. Based on an initial analysis, a system of limit switches enabling the homing procedure was integrated into the platform. Subsequently, a user interface was created in the WinCC Unified environment, which combines the standard screens of the LKinLang and LKinCtrl libraries with a custom implemented screen. Furthermore, a new control program was programmed, into which custom function blocks for homing procedures and a communication interface with a variable frequency drive were incorporated. All modifications to the mechanical parts and electrical installation were documented. The output of the work is also an operating manual, which intuitively summarizes the operation of the manipulator. The overall functionality and accuracy of the system were finally verified by a drawing test.

Student obhájil diplomovou práci. Komise neměla žádné námitky k řešené práci. V průběhu odborné rozpravy student odpověděl na dotazy konstrukčního řešení, použitých aktuátorů a struktury programu.
