Bachelor's Thesis
Author of thesis: Erik Slatinský
Acad. year: 2025/2026
Supervisor: Ing. Michal Ptáček, Ph.D.
Reviewer: Ing. Jan Koudelka, Ph.D.
The thesis is divided into five main sections. The first part deals with the description of the rules and procedures used in the reconstruction of existing distribution networks or the construction of new ones. The second part is dedicated to a technical description of the existing LV distribution network in the village of Hrušky, including the types and locations of distribution transformer stations, network topology, and connection methods for supply points. Furthermore, it presents the power demands of supply points according to different distribution tariffs and evaluates the municipality’s urban development plan in the field of energy. The third part focuses on creating a parameterized model of the local LV network, followed by its steady-state calculation and a steady-state calculation with the reserved capacity of photovoltaic power plants reduced to 60 %. The objective of this is to identify changes in network parameters (primarily voltage). This finding has a direct impact on the further integration of PV plants without the need for additional investments in the DS. The fourth part deals with the development of a new LV network model for the village of Hrušky, adhering to the technical implementation guidelines of the company EG.D. It is followed by steady-state calculations of the network conducted separately for the cases of 100 % permitted (agreed-upon) source capacities and for the case of their reduction to 60 %. The final section provides an evaluation of the results achieved and recommendations for the distribution system operator.
Distribution network, renewable energy sources, power engineering, steady state analysis, Grizzly software, LV and MV network concepts
