This bachelor's thesis deals with the development of forecasting approaches used in adequacy assessments of the Czech power system. The thesis analyses the methodologies and results of MAF CZ studies published between 2016 and 2023, focusing on net electricity consumption forecasting. It also provides an overview of statistical and advanced time-series forecasting methods, including artificial intelligence and neural network techniques. By comparing historical forecasts with actual electricity consumption data, the thesis evaluates the evolution of forecasting models, their accuracy, and their ability to reflect emerging factors influencing electricity demand. The results indicate a gradual transition from simpler forecasting approaches to more complex models incorporating a wider range of input data and scenario assumptions.

Student prezentoval výsledky své závěrečné práce. Dr. Ptáček seznámil komisi s posudky vedoucího a oponenta. Dr. Ptáček položil otázky vedoucího a oponenta, student na otázky řádně zodpověděl. Následnou diskuzi otevřela doc. Orságová. Prof. Katovský položil dotaz ohledně využití různých typů grafů v práci, dostupnosti dat MAF a analytických metod, student pohotově zodpověděl.
