The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of a laboratory exercise dedicated to electric vehicle charging in an island (off-grid) mode for educational purposes. The theoretical part provides a comprehensive overview of electromobility, traction batteries, and their charging methods, while also addressing the topic of photovoltaic carports and off-grid systems, including their key components. The practical part centers on real-world measurements involving an electric vehicle and a mobile off-grid power plant. During testing, the charging availability indication was utilized, and the boundary operating values of voltage and frequency were measured, including an evaluation of power quality. The final outcome of the thesis is a comprehensive proposal for a laboratory exercise that enables students to practically demonstrate and understand the behavior of the charging system under simulated abnormal distribution grid conditions.
