This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a diagnostic method set for selected rotating machinery in the Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plant SAKO Brno. The primary objective is to enhance operational reliability and optimize maintenance strategies. The work includes an analysis of machinery criticality, identifying key units: the TG1 turbogenerator, flue gas fans, and feed water pumps. A diagnostic framework integrating vibrodiagnostics, electrical analysis, and oil analysis is proposed for these machines. The practical section evaluates data from pilot measurements, which successfully identified specific bearing faults and mechanical looseness. Furthermore, a proposal for predictive maintenance development, including integration with the enterprise CMMS, is presented. Economic evaluation, based on internal cost analyses, indicates a payback period of 2.8 years for the proposed solution, confirming the high efficiency of investing in on-line monitoring for critical components.
