This study investigates the effect of correlated color temperature (CCT) on the level of glare. The aim of the thesis is to obtain a representative sample of drivers who will complete a test route and evaluate lighting scenes in terms of glare. Five lighting scenes were configured in which two parameters were varied – correlated color temperature and luminous output. Each scene was followed by an assessment of glare intensity using a point scale. The study also included the use of eye-tracking and objective measurements of individual scenes to validate the subjective data. A total of 102 drivers participated in the experiment. The results showed that higher correlated color temperature leads to increased discomfort glare. The research was supplemented with a new glare calculation model that considers the influence of CCT. The model was shown to support the trends observed in the subjective glare evaluations. The thesis confirms the relevance of the spectral properties of light sources in public lighting design with respect to visual comfort and road traffic safety.

Student seznámil zkušební komisi s výsledky své diplomové práce na téma Vliv náhradní teploty chromatičnosti na míru oslnění. Následně přečetl vedoucí práce Ing. Škoda, Ph.D svůj posudek a doc. Baxant oponentní posudek. Student poté odpověděl na dotazy z posudků ke spokojenosti komise. Na následné doplňující dotazy od ostatních členů komise student odpovídal jistě a správně.
