This thesis focuses on the analysis of events in the WAMS (Wide Area Monitoring System) and the validation of a dynamic model of the transmission system in the MODES program. The thesis first describes the WAMS system, its principles, and its use in monitoring dynamic phenomena in the power system, and then addresses a general method for calculating the dynamic stability of a generator. Based on consultations, a set of real-world events from WAMS measurements is selected and analyzed using available analytical tools or internal ČEPS applications. Subsequently, a dynamic model is constructed and verified by simulating a selected operating state in the MODES environment. The model results are then compared with real-world measurements from WAMS to assess its accuracy and ability to faithfully capture the generator’s dynamic responses under real operating conditions.

Student Jan Lukášek seznámil komisi s výsledky své diplomové práce Analýza událostí systému WAMS a ověření dynamického modelu generátoru. Vedoucí práce Ing. Bátora seznámil komisi se zněním obou posudků. Student správně zodpověděl na všechny otázky oponenta. V následné diskuzi se o slovo přihlásil doc. Mastný a Ing. Ptáček. Student tázanou problematiku správně objasnil. Na poslední otázku prof. Tomana odpověděl student správně.
