This diploma thesis deals with issue of numerical simulation of temperature rise in a low – voltage switchgear and its subsequent validation with an actual laboratory experiment. The theoretical part is focused on the analysis if normative requirements for correct testing of the given device within the relevant standard. Part of the theoretical knowledge is also a description of the mathematical model and basic laws that define the computational processes of the numerical simulation in the ANSYS Fluent software. The introduction of the practical part is devoted to the experimental measurement of the contact resistance on the current path and its calculation, which serves as an input condition for the computational model. The core of the thesis is the realization of the numerical simulation itself, which is subsequently validated with the measured laboratory data. The obtained maximum values are analyzed, and their percentage deviation is calculated. The conclusion of the thesis is comprehensive evaluation and visualization of the achieved results, based on which optimalization measures are proposed to increase the efficiency of temperature rise reduction of the analyzed device.

Student seznámil zkušební komisi s výsledky své diplomové práce na téma Simulace a optimalizace oteplení přípojnic v rozváděčích nízkého napětí. S posudkem vedoucí práce seznámila komisi doc. Orságová. S posudky oponentů seznámili komisi doc. Lázničková a doktor Valenta. Student následně na otázky oponentů odpověděl. Doplňující otázku položil prof. Katovský ohledně přesnosti simulací. Student odpověděl. Dále se zeptal na nastavení parametrů simulovaného modelu Ing. Vavera. Student odpověděl.
