This bachelor's thesis deals with the design, implementation, and testing of a distributed measurement system for collecting temperature data in the beverage industry, specifically in the brewing industry. The system architecture is based on a master-slave topology using the RS-485 industrial bus. The master unit is implemented using a Raspberry Pi 4 single-board computer. The distributed slave units use custom-designed hardware based on the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 development board with an RP2350 microcontroller. Temperature measurement is done by DS18B20 digital sensors. The firmware of the slave unit’s embedded system is implemented in C++, while the software component of the master unit is written in Python. The thesis also focuses on the reliability of communication between the units and the overall modularity of the proposed solution.

Student odprezentoval připravenou prezentaci a následně odpovídal na dvě dotazy položené oponentem závěrečné práce. V následující diskusi student obhajoval svou volbu snímače teploty. Jak byla zajištěna kalibrace senzorů v tancích? Komise se doptávala na fyzické umístění senzoru. Student obhájil bakalářskou práci. Komise neměla žádné námitky k řešené práci. V průběhu odborné rozpravy student odpověděl na dotazy.
