Process of defence

In his presentation, the student informed the committee about the objectives, solutions and results he had reached in his thesis. The committee then read the opinions and evaluation of the thesis supervisor and the opponent. Questions from committee members: 1. doc. Chlebovský: Have you started negotiating with some big companies? - answered 2. Ing. Ulč: How would you deal with your partners after the challenge? - answered 3. Ing. Havíř: I understand that there is no other company like yours. How do you differentiate? - answered 4. Ing. Havíř: How hard do you think is for the competitors to copy you? - answered 5. Ing. Bumberová: What is the lifetime value of the customer? - partly answered 6. Ing. Bumberová: Do you consider different pricing model? - partly answered On the basis of the presentation and the answers to the questions asked in the discussion, the committee decided that the student defended the thesis.

Supervisor’s report
doc. Ing. Vít Chlebovský, Ph.D.

Fulfilment of thesis objectives (75 %)

The thesis fulfils its main objective of proposing a Go-to-Market strategy for the selected digital platform . The output is not only formal but also supported by real platform data and pilot validation. The objective is therefore met at a solid level, although with limited generalizability.

Methodology and approach (78 %)

The methodology is appropriate and combines theoretical frameworks with primary data from a real pilot cycle . This strengthens the credibility of the conclusions. Minor limitations include partial measurement gaps and reliance on a limited empirical base.

Ability to analyse and interpret results (75 %)

The analytical section is detailed and well structured. The author demonstrates strong understanding of platform dynamics and derives actionable conclusions, particularly regarding activation mechanisms and the cold start problem. Some findings could be more concise, but overall the analytical level is above average.

Quality of the Go-to-Market strategy (70 %)

The thesis presents a structured and operational GTM strategy including phasing, acquisition logic, pricing transition, KPIs, timeline, and budget .

Strengths:

clear sequencing and internal consistency

strong focus on key constraint (cold start)

use of real behavioural data

Limitations:

dependence on a limited pilot dataset

some elements (e.g. scaling and retention) remain only partially validated

responsibility allocation is not explicitly defined

The GTM strategy is therefore well developed but not fully complete at a robust execution level.

Practical applicability (72 %)

The work has high practical relevance and reflects real startup conditions. The proposals are applicable in practice; however, their reliability depends on further validation and scaling beyond the initial pilot context.

Structure and language quality (80 %)

The thesis is clearly structured and logically organised . The language is professional and precise.

Use of sources (75 %)

Relevant academic sources are used appropriately , and their connection with primary data improves the overall validity of the results.

Overall evaluation: 72 %

The thesis presents a well-designed and practically oriented Go-to-Market strategy supported by real data. Its main strengths lie in its structured approach and connection between analysis and proposals.

Limitations stem from the narrow empirical base, partial validation of key assumptions, and some missing operational elements (e.g. responsibility structure). The work is clearly above average in execution but does not fully reach the level of a fully validated GTM strategy.

The bachelor's thesis is of a very good standard and meets the requirements for a bachelor's thesis.
Evaluation criteria Verbal classification Grade
Splnění stanovených cílů The main goal of this thesis is to propose a feasible Go-to-Market strategy for the company. The main objective of the work is appropriately supplemented by sub-objectives that support the achievement of the main objective.  B
Zvolený postup řešení, adekvátnost použitých metod The author selected appropriate research methods and provided a thorough description and definition of the current state of affairs. Based on this analysis, the author establishes a number of assumptions for the design section of the thesis.  B
Schopnost interpretovat dosažené výsledky a vyvozovat z nich závěry The results of the surveys conducted are interpreted very well and linked to the main objective of the study. I also appreciate the validation of the results using a pilot example. B
Praktická využitelnost výsledků The proposed measures are practical and well-reasoned. The author has appropriately included a timeline and budget with the proposals.  B
Struktura práce, použitá terminologie a odborná jazyková úroveň From a formal standpoint, I have no comments; the thesis meets the requirements for a bachelor’s thesis.  B
Práce s informačními zdroji The author draws on a wide range of literary sources, both domestic and foreign. Within these sources, there are minor inconsistencies in citation style and some typos.  C
