The thesis deals with the automatic classification of decorated Easter eggs using computer vision and machine learning methods. As part of the work, a dataset of images and motif crops was prepared and used to test various classification approaches. YOLO and Vision Transformer models were used to recognize decoration techniques. For motif classification, methods based on pretrained image-text models were also evaluated. The results show that automated analysis can serve as useful support for the description and categorization of decorated Easter eggs, especially when combined with probabilistic outputs and expert interpretation. The thesis also includes a graphical user interface that demonstrates the practical use of the proposed methods and enables the comparison of model outputs on selected images.
