This thesis deals with the design and implementation of an application for automated image data collection and its subsequent use for deep learning functions such as anomaly detection, classification, and object detection. The application fully covers the artificial intelligence model training process, from dataset creation to the final export. The goal was to replace the manual training process in the Deep Learning Tool with an automated solution that reduces the time required by a process engineer when training new neural networks. Data collection and the graphical user interface of the application are developed in the Automation Studio development environment by BR Industrial Automation GmbH. Neural network operations are implemented via a Python script utilizing the native library and the MVTec HALCON computing core by MVTec Software GmbH. Testing and validation of the automated system have proven that the proposed application achieves results comparable to the DLT tool. The result of this thesis is a fully functional application that streamlines the expert’s workflow and saves time during both image data collection and the training of new neural network models.

Student obhájil diplomovou práci. Komise neměla žádné námitky k řešené práci. V průběhu odborné rozpravy student odpověděl na dotazy týkající se způsobu anotace objektů a validace výsledků neuronové sítě.
