This master’s thesis deals with the possibility of evaluating lower limb muscle fatigue using segmental bioimpedance measurements. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the physiological mechanisms of muscle fatigue, methods for its assessment, and the principles of bioelectrical impedance analysis with a focus on segmental bioimpedance measurement. The practical part of the thesis focused on the design and implementation of an experimental muscle fatigue measurement using the MBM bioimpedance monitor. Based on the obtained bioimpedance parameters, a prototype classification model using the Random Forest algorithm was created to distinguish different levels of muscle fatigue. The model was developed using data obtained from 10 subjects and achieved a classification accuracy of 79.2~\%. The results of the thesis demonstrate that segmental bioimpedance measurement may represent a suitable approach for evaluating the current level of lower limb muscle fatigue. The thesis also includes the design and implementation of a simple graphical user interface enabling automated measurement execution, bioimpedance data processing, and subsequent classification of the current level of muscle fatigue.
