This thesis deals with the use of virtual reality (VR) as a tool for improving the effectiveness of rehabilitation for patients after a stroke (CMP). Patients find conventional therapy unmotivating, whereas VR therapy is more attractive to them. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes, in the form of a literature review, the current findings from meta-analyses focused on the use of VR in therapy and maps the available commercial products for upper and lower limb rehabilitation. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the possibilities of interaction using controllers and hand tracking. Based on an analysis of rehabilitation protocols, the practical section proposes a set of exercises for the upper limbs that can be implemented in immersive VR; these exercises incorporate gamification elements, and feedback is provided to the patient in various forms. The proposed activities are implemented in the Unity game engine using the Meta XR SDK and Meta Quest 3, and this thesis documents the outputs and solutions to the main development challenges. Subsequently, the thesis focuses on evaluating the functionality of the entire system and its benefits for rehabilitation.

Studentka prezentovala výsledky své práce a komise byla seznámena s posudky. Doc. Gumulec položil otázku: Zkoušel vizualizaci i někdo jiný? Co používáte ke snímání rukou? Jak jste implmentovala danou úlohu v prostředí a jakém? Ing. Šaclová položila otázku: Používají se tyto metody v klinické realitě? Studentka obhájila bakalářskou práci a odpověděla na otázky členů komise a oponenta.
