The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze a 24-hour electrocardiogram (ECG) recording using time-domain, frequency-domain, and time-frequency methods of heart rate variability (HRV) analysis, and to assess whether a measurable effect of mild physical exercise on cardiac autonomic regulation can be detected. A complete Python-based analytical pipeline was implemented, comprising ECG filtering, R-peak detection, artifact correction, and HRV parameter computation. Statistical evaluation followed a two-stage approach at both individual and group level across seven healthy subjects. The effect of exercise was partially confirmed: physical activity consistently suppressed vagal activity and increased LF-band power. The resting period immediately following exercise proved to be a transitional recovery phase, limiting the quantification of the acute exercise effect.characteristics of the ECG signal.

Němcová položila otázku: Jaké hodnoty jste využila k analýze? Lišilo se cvičení dopoledne a odpoledne u subjektů? Studentka obhájila bakalářskou práci a odpověděla na otázky členů komise a oponenta.
