"I would really like to visit the forest, but it is just too difficult" (response from a participant in the qualitative study of the same name). Walking and short excursions are a natural part of life, yet this activity is not accessible to everyone. For people with bodies that deviate from the norm, visits to nature are usually approached primarily from a rehabilitation perspective. However, making ordinary everyday activities accessible should not be contingent on medical treatment. This thesis examines the accessibility of nature for people with mobility impairments. The first part maps the current state of public transportation accessibility and related information, revealing that the system is fragmented across various sources and that its information is often misleading or outdated. Based on this, a multi-layered map is created, compiling information on public transportation accessibility, terrain slope, and trail surfaces from available data sources. The second part deals with the design of a circular route north of Česká Lípa, created by connecting existing hiking trails and two abandoned railway lines. Alternative circular routes with accessible gradients are proposed for selected peaks along the route. The third section proposes an accessible route through the ČSA quarry northeast of Chomutov, where mining operations have ceased and the site has been designated a National Natural Monument. The accessible trench with a gentle slope was created by the final excavation of the RK 5000 bucket excavator, which remains in its final position after completion and becomes part of the gradually overgrowing quarry. The trench is connected to a pontoon pier, a series of footbridges leading through the excavator, and a ground-level cableway linking the excavator to the surrounding trails.
