The thesis focuses on the design of a synchronization and calibration system for determining the azimuth and elevation of a parabolic antenna system operating in the S- band. Main focus is given to the analysis of sensor-based orientation determination methods, including magnetometric, gyroscopic, accelerometric, and GNSS approaches. Based on theoretical analysis, a hardware solution utilizing RTK GNSS technology for precise azimuth determination and a static accelerometer for elevation measurement is proposed. The result is a system design capable of accurate and stable operation.
