In cyberspace, the volume of publicly available data that can be used for open-source intelligence is constantly growing. Manually searching for, sorting, and interpreting this information is time-consuming, and when dealing with a large number of sources, it can lead to confusion or the loss of relevant context. This bachelor’s thesis therefore focuses on the use of modern artificial intelligence methods, particularly large language models with local deployment, in processing data in the field of OSINT. Its goal was to design and experimentally validate tools capable of streamlining the analysis of both prepared documents and dynamic web content. The proposed solution consists of a RAG system designed to search for and interpret information from locally stored documents and the LLM Web Scraper tool, which uses language models to generate extraction code for processing articles and discussions from websites. The solution included a comparison of selected locally deployable models, integration of the Czech language, and an evaluation of the models’ ability to produce structured outputs. The results showed that locally deployed language models can be a suitable means of supporting analytical tasks in OSINT.
