Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the functional properties of a cold reactive asphalt mixture. The theoretical part provides a brief review of the available literature dealing with cold asphalt mixtures, their classification, curing mechanisms, and an overview of their applications in the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part is dedicated to the laboratory production of test specimens from the supplied cold reactive asphalt mixture and the subsequent determination of selected functional parameters using specific laboratory tests – the wheel tracking test and the determination of low-temperature properties. In the conclusion of the thesis, the obtained functional properties of the reactive mixture are compared with the properties of a standard hot-mix asphalt concrete used for surface courses.

Student seznámil komisi se svou bakalářskou práci na téma Funkční vlastnosti studené reaktivní asfaltové směsi. Prezentace byla připravená na dobré úrovni, při vlastní prezentaci však působil nejsitě a nesebevědomně. Následně zodpověděl všechny dotazy položené v oponentském posudku. Padlo několik doplňujících dotazů komise, např.: - Je reálné, aby se při běžném použití v provozu na pozemních komunikací bylo čekáno půl hodinu na zrání směsi a 2 dny na kompletní vytvrdnutí směsi? - zodpověděl - Proč část desek měla velké vyjeté koleje a část relativně malé? - zodpověděl Následovala diskuse k výsledkům práce.
