This diploma thesis focuses on the revitalization of the Medlánky Airport area in Brno and the design of a new center for sport aviation connecting airport operations with public space, education, and community life. The main objective of the proposal is to create a lively multifunctional environment that allows visitors to experience direct contact with the authentic operation of a sport airport. The dominant element of the design is the Gallery–Hangar of Sport Aviation, combining the functions of a hangar, gallery, workshop activities, and community space into a single functional unit. The urban concept responds to the current fragmented structure of the airport area and creates a new clearly defined center with a distinction between public, semipublic, and operational zones. The architectural concept is inspired by the dynamics of aerobatic glider formations, their trajectories, and movement through space. At the same time, the proposal respects the historical, community, and landscape character of Medlánky Airport and reflects its ecological value connected to the protection of the European ground squirrel. The proposal also emphasizes environmental and energy sustainability through the use of renewable energy sources, photovoltaic panels, heat pumps, and an energy storage system based on sand battery technology. The result of the thesis is a vision of an open airport complex connecting technology, landscape, public space, and community activities into one cohesive functional environment.

Úvodem přiblížila místo a rozsah řešeného území, dále velmi výstižně popsala historii místa návrhu. Zmínila dále zdroje inspirace a dopravní řešení a dostupnost. Velmi přehledně odprezentovala situaci místa návrhu a hmotové řešení, včetně řešení navržených a ponechaných objektrů. Zhodnotila i současný stav stávajících objektů. Velice detailně popsala jednotlivé upravované i navržené části projektu, a to v rozsahu půdorysů, řezů a pohledů. Popsala i vlivy a motivy, které se v projektu promítly a měly zásadní vliv na celkové řešení. Velice detailně se věnovala konstrukčnímu řešení během prezentace a i řešení architektonického detailu. Dále promítla videosekvenci celého návrhu. Dále reagovala na dotazování v roivně konstrukčního řešení - zakládání stavby a dílčích možnostech řešení s ohledem na neznámé vlastnosti zemin - podloží pod navrženými objekty. Zmínila i hlediska požárně bezpečnostního řešení. V diskuzi bylo probíráno provozní řešení - konkrétně pohyb lidí v navržených objektech a jejich okolí. Vyzdvižena byla příkladná práce s terénem. Diskuze byla vedena nad způsobem odvádění deš´tových vod ze střech navržených objektů a dále nad konstrukční podstatou hlavního objektu návrhu. Studentka s dokonalým přehledem zaujímala odborná stanoviska ke všem připomínkám oponenta a výborně reagovala i na všechny otázky členů komise, které byly k obhajované práci položeny.
