Abstract:

The work deals with triaxial tests of sedimentary rocks, it consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part describes the process of "slaking", in which geomaterials disintegrate during repeated cycles of saturation and drying. Subsequently, the types of "slaking" are described, as well as the possible main causes of degradation. In the practical part, consolidated drained (CD) triaxial tests were performed on dry and saturated samples and grain size analyses. Dry tests were performed in a standard manner, but without saturation. Saturated tests were performed in a less standard manner, including saturation only after the consolidation phase. Volume changes were measured using a double cell. Other evaluated parameters were the angle of internal friction and cohesion. Granulometric analyses were performed before and after the triaxial tests.

Studentka Vendula Vlasáková obhajovala bakalářskou práci na téma "Triaxiální zkoušky degradace skalních hornin při jejich sycení vodou". Po prezentaci práce a přednesení posudků vedoucího práce a oponenta reagovala studentka na jejich dotazy a připomínky. Poté odpovídala na tyto dotazy předsedy a členů zkušební komise: Jestliže by se násypy realizovaly z jílovců, jak by jeho kvalitu ovlivnilo případné zvýšení hladiny podzemní vody? V rámci obhajoby BP odpovídala studentka výborně .
