Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and assessment of a locally supported floor slab and a perimeter tie beam above the second floor of a four-story office building, analyzed as a structural section. Within the structural analysis in SCIA Engineer, four different computational models were compared. The elements are designed for the ultimate limit state in compliance with current standards. The outputs include a technical report, structural calculations, and formwork and reinforcement drawings.
