Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the phenomenon of temporary public spa-ces as a tool of tactical urbanism. The theoretical part explains the principles of tactical urbanism, its relationship to public space, and the possibilities of using temporary interventions to test future urban changes. The aim of the thesis is to analyse selected successful foreign and Czech interventions and, based on these examples, propose a solution for the selected locality of Náměstí SNP in Brno. The thesis focuses on the current state of the area, its spatial arrangement, use, quality of stay, and the potential for activating part of a large grass area. The result is a proposal for a temporary stay zone that uses a set of simple, reversible, and financially appropriate measures. The proposal is understood as a pilot intervention that can improve the everyday use of the place and at the same time serve as a testing tool for verifying further possibilities for the development of public space.

Studentka představila komisi formou prezentace svoji bakalářskou práci a reagovala na připomínky a dotazy od oponenta vyjádřené v oponentském posudku i na otázky členů komise. Během obhajoby položili členové komise následující otázky: Ing. arch. Adam Guzdek, Ph.D. – Zamyslela jste se i nad jinými částmi Brna pro taktický urbanismus? Proč jste nevyužila něco u Vašeho bydliště? Proč jste nechtěla zlepšit něco ve vašem okolí? Na připomínky oponenta k bakalářské práci reagovala studentka přijatelným způsobem u většiny z nich se snažila zdůvodnit proč navrhla právě takové řešení. Na některé připomínky členů komise nereagovala přesvědčivým způsobem.
