Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design and static analysis of a locally supported reinforced concrete ceiling structure of a residential building. A ceiling structure above the 9th floor was selected for the detailed design. The computational model of the structure was created in the SCIA Engineer 24.0 software based on the finite element method.
As part of the thesis, a simplified 2D plane model was compared with a spatial 3D submodel of the structure. The resulting bending moments for the ultimate limit state assessment were verified manually using the equivalent frame method. The serviceability limit state assessment regarding the total deflection of the structure was performed exclusively in the SCIA Engineer software.
The thesis also includes the structural assessment of the most heavily loaded column, the design of punching shear reinforcement, and the structural design of a prefabricated staircase flight, including drawing documentation.
