Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is the design and assessment of a single-span tied arch bridge with hangers made of externally post-tensioned reinforced concrete. In the introductory part of the thesis, two bridge variants were developed, while the bridge configuration without an intermediate support was selected for detailed analysis. The structural analysis was carried out using the software SCIA Engineer. The structure was assessed with respect to the Ultimate Limit State (ULS) and Serviceability Limit State (SLS). The drawing documentation was prepared in AutoCAD, and the visualization of the bridge structure was created using Archicad and Lumion.
