Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a road bridge over the Svratka river. Several bridging alternatives were developed and the chosen option is designed as a monolithic post-tensioned one-span frame structure with variable width and a parabolic haunch. The total length of the load-bearing structure is 22,4 m. The frame footings rest on a reinforced concrete foundation slab supported by bored piles.
Load effects were determined using a beam model and a plate-wall model created in SCIA Engineer 25.0. The design of prestressing force and assessment of ultimate and servicibility limit states were carried out by hand according to valid standards and regulations.
