Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of a stabilization system for a deep excavation slope as part of the extension of the tram line Bystrc–Kamechy in Brno. The aim of the thesis was to analyze possible slope stabili-zation alternatives and to propose a suitable solution for both temporary and permanent stages of the construction. The design is based on the results of an engineering geological survey, from which the mechanical properties of the soils were derived.
The theoretical part describes the basic principles of slope stabilization methods, including soil nailing, soldier pile walls, mechanically stabilized earth structures, and gabion walls. The practical part focuses on the design of a specific solution, where a soil-nailed slope was proposed for temporary stabilization and a mechanically stabilized earth wall with geosynthetic rein-forcement for permanent stabilization.
The structural calculations were carried out using GEO5 software, specifically the Soil Nailing and Reinforced Slopes modules, in accordance with ČSN EN 1997. Both internal and overall stability of the structures, the load-bearing capacity of individual elements, and the interaction between the structure and the foundation soil were assessed. The results show that the proposed structures meet the required safety and stability criteria.

Studentka Alisa Sakhno obhajovala bakalářskou práci na téma "Návrh zajištění hlubokého zářezu". Po prezentaci práce a přednesení posudků vedoucího práce a oponenta reagovala studentka na jejich dotazy a připomínky. Poté odpovídala na tyto dotazy předsedy a členů zkušební komise: Hodnotila autorka přenesené vstupní parametry? Je v zářezu hřebíkovaná stěna návrhem autorky? Jsou hodnoty koheze u daných zemin přiměřené? Na základě čeho byly stanoveny délky hřebíků? V rámci obhajoby BP odpovídala studentka dobře .
