The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a new family house with a business, which consists of a design office. The family house has a partial basement. The family house is located in the eastern part of the village of Suchohrdly u Miroslavi in the Znojmo region and is a detached building with two above-ground floors and a partially basement. The above-ground floors also include a garage designed for two cars. The building is intended for a family of four in one apartment unit. The apartment unit is also adapted for family guests. The main entrance to the family house is located in the northern part and next to it there is a separate entrance to the business. The business has its own sanitary facilities, which are also adapted for the disabled.

The basement (1S) mainly consists of technical and storage spaces. The first above-ground floor (1st floor) consists of communication spaces and the second above-ground floor (2nd floor) consists of a quiet zone.

The proposed building is insulated with a certified ETICS contact insulation system made of mineral facade boards with longitudinal fibers. The above-ground floor is constructed of ceramic blocks, the basement part is constructed of monolithic concrete. The ceiling structures are made of prestressed reinforced concrete panels and the building is based on foundation strips made of plain concrete.

The roof structure consists of a flat roof made of TPO foil. The facade will be plastered with white silicone plaster in combination with gray window and door frames. The facade also includes an awning above the main entrance to the family house and above the entrance to the business premises.
