Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a multifunctional building in the development area of Trnitá in Brno. The site is located in the wider city centre, within an area of planned urban transformation related to the development of a new urban district, the planned main railway station, and new transport and pedestrian connections.

The aim of the thesis is to examine the potential of transforming the currently underused area into a compact urban structure combining several functions. The design includes housing, hotel accommodation, civic amenities, an active ground floor, and shared spaces. Emphasis is placed on the functional separation of individual operations, the creation of a high-quality residential environment, and the completion of the urban structure in relation to the future character of the district.

The proposal is based on the urban conditions of the site, its traffic load, its relationship to the historic viaduct, and the need to improve permeability through the area. The design also incorporates greenery, vegetated roofs, an inner courtyard, and principles of blue-green infrastructure, which contribute to improving the microclimate and the quality of outdoor spaces.

The diploma thesis is developed as an architectural study extended by selected technical parts. It focuses on the urban, architectural, layout, structural, material, technological, and environmental aspects of the proposed building.

Studentka prezentovala svůj projekt "Polyfunkční objekt Trnítá". Na úvod prezentovala zadání a požadavky. Navázala popisem situace širších vztahů včetně všech dopravních návazností. Pokračovala popisem urbanistického řešení a situace místa stavby včetně návaznosti na přilehlé komunikace a umístění vstupů do objektu. V další části popsala funkce v jednotlivých podlažích a představila jednotlivá podlaží objektu. Popsala také dispozici jednotlivých bytů. Navázala popisem nosné konstrukce objektu a řezů objektem. Na pohledech popsala materiálové a hmotové řešení objektu. Na závěr představila vizualizace objektu na kterých popsala architektonické řešení a svůj řešený architektonický detail. Studentka reagovala na připomínky oponenta, u kterých zmínila chybné číslování skladeb konstrukcí a slovně uvedla správné přižazení značek. Předseda komise v rámci rozpravy položil dotaz na výšku řešeného objektu a kapacitní požadavky objektu. Studentka popsala náležitosti a požadavky investora, kterým se snažila vyhovět. konstatovala však, že v některých částech návrhu se v zájmu zvýšení kvality návrhu přiklonila k některým kompromisům. Byl položen i dotaz k účelu některých místností. Studentka reagovala na dotazy a účely místností popsala. Při rozpravě nad výkresovou dokumentací neodpověděla na některé doplňující dotazy týkající se hydroizolací. Hlavní výtkou komise k návrhu bylo utilitární, monofukční řešení objektu, které ovšem vycházelo ze zadání.
