This master's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of an automated incident response system for containerized environments. A functional prototype was created integrating the CheckMK monitoring tool, webhook router, and Rundeck orchestrator for automatic execution of remediation runbooks. The system was designed with a modular architecture enabling incident detection, intelligent alert routing, and automated execution of remedial actions without human intervention. The implementation includes three types of runbooks: container restart, service redeployment, and horizontal scaling. Testing demonstrated that automation reduces incident resolution time by 99.60 % compared to manual procedures. In a simulation of 15 incidents per month, a time saving of 191.5 minutes and a downtime reduction of 95.99 % were achieved. The system was successfully deployed and tested on a Docker Swarm platform with three test scenarios representing real operational situations. The thesis also identifies security and operational risks associated with automation and proposes mitigation measures for production deployment. The resulting system demonstrates significant potential for automation to improve service availability and incident management efficiency.

Student ve své prezentaci seznámil komisi s cíli, řešením a výsledky, ke kterým v závěrečné práci dospěl. Komise se poté seznámila s posudky a hodnocením vedoucího práce a oponenta. Otázky z posudku vedoucího student zodpověděl v plném rozsahu, otázky z posudku oponenta zodpověděl v plném rozsahu. Otázky členů komise: 1 doc. Koch: Zkoumali jste, kolik procent incidentů nezvládne vyřešit automat (odhadem)? - zodpovězeno v plném rozsahu 2 dr.
