Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with a comprehensive evaluation of the hydraulic condition and the degree of contamination of the water distribution network in the municipality of Syrovice. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the causes of increased pipe contamination based on data from the controlled flushing of 42 sections, performed using the Astacus measuring and cleaning robot, in combination with outputs from the developed mathematical model. A model of the network was created in the QGIS and EPANET software environments, and a quasi-dynamic simulation was performed. The results demonstrated that the oversizing of the network in residential areas leads to low flow velocities and an increase in water age up to a limit exceeding 50 hours. These hydraulic deficiencies are one of the causes of the sedimentation of iron and manganese particles, which settle on the dead-end sections of the network. In the conclusion of the thesis, specific investment and operational measures for stabilizing water quality are proposed to the operator, primarily the implementation of regular flushing.

V úvodu obhajoby student přednesl hlavní teze své bakalářské práce. Student popsal zájmové území, představil komisi hydrauliký model vodovodní sítě, který sám kalibroval na základě poskytnutých dat. Student v rámci obhajoby zvýraznil vliv koncových úseků. Byly přečteny posudky vedoucího práce a oponenta. Student zodpověděl připomínky obsažené v posudcích. Následně proběhla diskuze k bakalářské práci, při níž členové komise položili následující dotazy: 1. Jak dlouho se proplachovalo? Kolik různých scénářů bylo využito? 2. Co je zdrojem vody pro zkoumanou obec? Jakým způsobem je voda upravována? Znáte koncentrace manganu a železa ve vodovodní síti? 3. Jaké jsou minimální rychlosti ve vodovodní síti? 4. Má smysl uvažovat o novém investičním záměru ve smyslu výstavby nové úpravny vody? Student reagoval velmi dobře.
